I am currently trying to book a flight (Glasgow to London, though I am not sure that matters), and when it comes to seat selection it is charging me for this service.
I am logged in with my account and I am gold status, so I believe that I should get free seat selection even when booking HBO (economy basic), I am sure that is what has happened previously. Has something changed?If it’s the new website I think it takes it off again before you actually have to pay (but still cack).
Yes, the new website ‘flow’ seems to indicate a charge for seats, however I understand if you are eligible for free seats the charge will be removed further into the process. Alternatively, don’t select seats at booking then go into MMB and chose seats.
What a ridiculous way of doing things!
I am also unable to find where I can add my on-business number in the booking process. This is worrying as the adding after option has been an IT nightmare for months now…It takes the charge off when you get to the payment page, but if it’s still showing when you do call BA because you get seat selection with Gold status.
