Has anyone else noticed that seatspy has become unreliable for ba availability of late?
I was searching for flights to Tenerife last week. Nothing on seat spy. One day there was 14 seats available when searching on BA
Checking tonight SS shows seats from BCN to LHR but BA shows nothing.
Its been very inaccurate for weeks. At one point out of about 12 economy destinations in europe on BA, 8 of them werent actually available and 2 were only available in business and it wasnt just like it for a day or so, it was like it the whole week leading up to the date I was searching for.
I asked their support and they said “there are some issues that we are dealing with with our BA availability at the moment. We are working on the data constantly at the moment to monitor it and have it as up to date as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience which we hope to have sorted as soon as possible”.
I’ve had issues with them over well over a year now. It is unreliable to some degree on pretty much every route I look at.
