Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Seat ‘topper’ for longhaul business seats

  • 50 posts

I always struggle to sleep in either the old or club suite seats as I’m a side sleeper and the seats are just too hard.
Has anybody found some sort of topper/mattress which is small enough to get in a wheelie bag but makes a decent difference?

Take a fleece and sleep on the duvet? I usually find the cabin temperature so random that I need a fleece when it’s cold and ditch the duvet when it’s too warm.

I use a thermarest evolite r, recommended by another travel blog. It’s a part-inflatable/ part-foam hiking mattress that is really small & light and takes up little space in my cabin bag. Makes a huge difference to comfort. They don’t manufacture them anymore but they do become available now and again on ebay. Ironically one sold this morning for about £20

BTW BA has rules for seat confort things brought on board by passengers, check the small print.
