Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club Seating advice on Virgin A330neo in Upper Class

  • 60 posts

    Hi!
I’ve managed to get 2 Upper seats on Virgins new a330-neo. We are a couple travelling. Planning to get window seats on the way out.
Would you recommend row 2 middle seats on the way back to sit together (although it looks like you face away from each other slightly) or are Window seats so much better?
    Thanks!

With old UC seating we always went for window seats on the same side, preferably A.

But with the neo if you want to be ‘together’, I think the middle seats are better, especially if you book the ‘retreat suite’ at the front.

Note that not all ‘window’ seats are really next to the windows, odd numbered rows have the side table/storage between seat and window.

    This has the layout…

@BenM – this is probably more of a personal preference, but if it’s an overnight return flight, and you’re likely to sleep but ultimately prefer a window seat, then that’s the option I’d choose 🙂

It has a little more legroom, but not lots more.
