Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Segmenting email addresses to reduce risk

  • 135 posts

I’ve been musing over the various data leaks, and the increasing amount of enticing status matches, loyalty schemes etc.

Of course this is a trade of information for benefit but it has costs and risks. I’ve started doing more segmenting of email addresses to reduce risk and exposure and would be interested in others’ views on how they approach use of unique or common email addresses.

Are there any activities that need consistency eg status match, between airlines, linked hotel schemes.

Is this overthinking or just common sense?

Ps this is probably only my second new thread, the first being ‘should I use a spreadsheet’. I like things neat and orderly!
