Just got an email from Amex stating “Whether you’re shopping at an old favourite or discovering a new one, in-store or online, you can earn rewards when you make purchases at participating small businesses.” and “Champion Small 2024 has ended, but you can still support small businesses all year round. Plus, get rewarded when you use your Card and support your local shops.”
But basically what they’re saying is that you get your normal Amex MR/Avios/Bonvoy points when you shop at a small business rather than any statement credit.
Anyone remember the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy piece where hairdressers were on the first shuttle out of here…. marketing people should be ahead of the hairdressers in my opinion.
