Morning everyone. Im curious to know if anyone’s purchases via eBay are being tracked and recorded? I’ve been on a HUGE Virgin Miles since new year and i’ve been frugally ensuring all purchases are done via Shops Away as best they can. I spend minimum £200 a week via eBay on purchases for my business.
However since using ShopsAway, Zero purchases have been tracked from eBay. Every other purchase i have made on other websites have been tracked however.
I Submitted no less than 20 Tickets originally to claim the missing points. For each tracked clicked on ShopsAway, i had a legitimate matching purchase.
Believe me when i say i understand what computers and what cookies are. Across 4 Devices i have deleted and reset all cookies and permissions and ensured to accept all cookies after visiting eBay after the wipe. And yet they are still not tracked.
The ShopsAway team Honoured the first “Batch” of tickets i submitted. But after submitting yet again another Batch of purchases they have now turned round and said they will no longer Honour any missing purchases not automatically tracked – Which begs the question if they actually tracked in the first place?
Has anyone else made Purchases via eBay recently and the purchase automatically tracked?

It sounds like eBay and ShopsAway have identified that you are making a B2B rather than a retail consumer transaction.
1.4. You must be over eighteen (18) years of age to use this Site. You are only permitted to use this Site for your own private and non-commercial use.
You’ll get away with it for small amounts. As soon as you start using a non-personal credit card or start shoving high volumes of transactions through you’ll be caught uot.

Even in that case, the purchases would be recorded and then rejected at a later date. But they are not evening being recorded.
The £12 I spent in the 30x offer tracked. This was going app to app.
Have you tried using another device if you say you’ve gone over all the settings and not just cookies each time you’ve purchased? what type of device are you using and on what sort of network? Also does it work with other retailers? Lastly is it worth speaking to Virgin about whether there is anything weird on your Virgin account? (settings changed or disappeared on my Virgin account more than once over the years).
for at least 2 years I was successfully double dipping (collecting nectar and Virgin points) but the Virgin points stopped 6 months ago

I’ve tried everything. nothing tracks with eBay. I use ShopsAway with many other retailers and works perfectly.
