Hello! I am looking to purchase 2x Economy Light fares in cash for a couple of friends of mine as a wedding present. I have silver tier status, so I believe that everyone on my booking should receive a checked bag, access to Premium Check In and ability to book a seat 7 days out (instead of 24 hours). Can I just check that I’ve interpreted this correctly from the Virgin website? I think it’s fine that I don’t have to travel myself and that everyone on the booking should receive these benefits? If so, how does this then work in practice? I went to the checkout on the website whilst logged in but couldn’t see anything obvious coming up to show the Silver benefits?
I also take it that there is no benefit for me in terms of tier points/virgin points for making this booking since I am not travelling?
