Discuss today's stories:
Would like to book outbound from MAD to LATAM somewhere and then return to LHR (likely via Madrid); is this possible using an Amex 241? Assume I need to call up to book.
I know it’s possible to book an open jaw using a 2-4-1 but this feels more like a multi city trip
You can do that – it’s a single (if you depart from the same SAm city) or double open jaw trip, both permissible under IATA fare construction rules. The only caveat is that returning to London on the same Avios 241 ticket can completely mess up the taxes/charges.
