We have just used the platinum Amex dining credit at the Tiffin Room at Raffles and I can thoroughly recommend it. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and chatty. I was expecting it to be a very formal affair but it had a very relaxed atmosphere with a great variety of diners of all ages.
That’s good to know. As a party of 5 I wasn’t willing to splurge on Raffles just to use the credit, so instead we ate at Mimi at Riverhouse (Clarke Quay) last year. The bill came in below £150 and the food & service were both impressive.
I blew mine last week at the Fire restaurant on the top of the Orchard Ion. The steak was very good; and being 55 floors up the view was too. Though the route to get there is a bit convoluted (its via an art gallery.)
