I see that as Skyteam Elite Plus (SAS Gold) gets a hold bag but do you have to pay on a cheap fare? Looking at NCL to CDG and the hold bag is £53 pp each way.
Thanks
In general, SkyTeam Elite Plus gets one extra bag free in addition to the allowance from the fare. Light fares on AF have zero bag allowance, so you can take one bag for free. 0 + 1 = 1. This should show up when you’re logged in, but I’m not sure how well SAS is integrated into the systems yet.
Also, since late last year, Flying Blue Platinum gets two extra bags on AF and KL marketed and operated flights. So 4 x 32kg in business class (if anyone needs that much).
Unless it is a KLM Cityhopper which does not recognise Skyteam status benefits

KLM Cityhopper should certainly recognise SkyTeam elite/elite plus benefits.
@Wiseoldman wrong info. You might have had a one-off experience.
KLC and KLM are no different in their allowances. KLC is primarily the feeder sister for connecting routes so it wouldn’t make sense if they had other rules to begin with. KLC is fully integrated using the same ticket office & ground services. Only equipment and crewing differ.
