Seeing a lot of these SLH branded hotels when searching on the app.
When it comes to Diamond benefits, do these hotels partake and to what extent usually or do they follow the boutique brands ie the Curio etc when it comes to recognising status?
For example, would Diamonds get free breakfast for all staying in the room (as a minimum).As posted in the other thread, currently at SLH The Danna in Langkawi. Booked using Hilton points and Hilton diamond.
Booked the basic room and got upgraded to ocean view as well as free breakfast for family.
No mention of diamond membership on check in, but got all the benefits.
Some benefits, but not all
No guaranteed lounge access for example, you may get it as a result of an upgrade to an eligible room, but not guaranteed

Nanuku Resort Fiji a couple of weeks ago – 100k/n 5 for 4. Absolute steal considering the $ rate.
Free breakfast, welcome meal, glass of champagne (and bottle in room). I think a lot of it is, as others say, just what the hotels provide (given their higher end boutique style), it probably would have felt “Diamond” even if we weren’t.
2.5 hour drive from NAN though, which in the middle of the night is boring, but traffic is very light once you get away from Nadi. For this hotel specifically, it’s an hour from SUV, so fly there if you can, but it’s much of a muchness, I wouldn’t bother with a domestic connection just to skip the drive, but I’ve driven the road between Nadi and Suva a fair few times, so am familiar with it (constant speed limit changes, speed cameras which move, police road blocks, very harsh speed humps and an 80km/h max on the open sections), but during the day it’s a beautiful drive.
Not as nice as Fiji but I spent the past weekend at Ashdown Park in Sussex — your typical middle class manor hotel.
Gold, not even diamond, got me a good upgrade and free breakfast for three of us. I’m not sure what else Diamond would give. Maybe an upgrade to a slightly larger room. Maybe.
