I mean this not as a gloat post but wanted to share a good example when two Amex offers work quite well together and for possibly inspire/help others looking to utilise the same.
Just booked the Rothay Manor Hotel in October (SLH) in Ambleside, Lake District. Phoned the hotel who sent me a prepay link for stay which triggered the £100 off when you spend £300 SLH offer after payment.
Rothay Manor doesn’t have a spa, but just around the corner (5 min walk) is the Ambleside Saluation Hotel and Spa. The property (as the name suggests!) features a day spa and has packages available for day guests. I called and prebooked a day spa package which triggered the 30% off World Hotels offer.
In total for a night away I’ve saved £175 combining the offers with relative ease.
I’m looking forward to a relaxing break in Cumbria!
That’s really good to know about the day spa package! I’ve not been able to make that offer work thus far.
We had a lovely stay at Rothay Manor while Mr & Mrs were briefly part of IHG, I hope the weather holds out so you can have a wander around the grounds.
