Discuss today's stories:
I have the SLH “Spend £300 or more, get £100 cashback” on my Amex Plat and am keen to make use of this for a booking in the autumn, if possible. As the offer ends on 03/07 I’ll need the card to be charged before then. Has anyone had any joy triggering this if booking on the SLH website or would I be better to book directly on the hotel’s website or call the hotel to book please?
My previous cashback with SLH has always triggered when I have made a payment at the hotel, as it is the locations that seem to trigger it. Might be worth trying to get the hotel to put the transaction through directly via the front desk.
@JenT thanks that’s really helpful, in that case I will call the hotel to book and ask them to process the payment straightaway.
