I have just got an email from Barclaycard saying “Sorry, – your Avios have been delayed this month” – is this just me or for everyone?
“We’re sorry we couldn’t add your Avios to your British Airways Club account this month.
There was a delay at our end, so they’ll be added to your Club account next month instead.”
I can understand some technical issue might delay a transfer for a few days (I think this has happened before) – but a whole month?
Mine were added yesterday. Not sure what has happened here.
Not had an email but mine haven’t gone over yet – first time it’s ever happened.
It’s happened with other readers previously, however.
Just received the same email – first time for me too. Thankfully they’re not needed urgently – but a whole month’s delay seems excessive!

Your post prompted me to check my BA Club account. Seems mine have been added earlier today – despite receiving the month’s delay email. All very odd!

Same here, I got both, correct avios and the email. Don’t mind having the avios credited again.. What a mess again.

Silly me, I believed the Barclays email – I never thought to check. They are in my BAC, but also still showing in Barclaycard.
Maybe we need this thread deleted… 😉
