I am currently statusless with Virgin but am considering buying some points with the 70% bonus by midnight tonight to use for 2 x upper class LHR-Male tickets for my husband and I as I am sitting on 1m Hilton points which I plan to use for a Maldives trip.
You have to buy 120k+ to trigger the 70% bonus but I need 115k for each myself and my husband. As we are without status is there any workaround to paying the transfer fee, or am I better buying less points per account and getting a lower bonus %? My other option is taking out a Virgin CC and trying to hit 10k to trigger a companion voucher. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you can wait… could wait until the credit does an offer of 35k airmiles rather than the regular 15k.
I would just buy the airmiles
