We are heading to Stockholm for a long weekend in a few months. We are looking for somewhere to stay which is good but not crazy expensive. Any recommendations?
I love the Hilton Slussen, really lovely views across the water and of the old town. Great breakfast as well which included meatballs and Dime Bar cake! I thought it was a great location for exploring too
We stayed in a Deluxe Queen room at Hotel C with a 1 year old and 2 year old last summer and it worked well for us. Next to the Arlanda Express station and bus terminal. Excellent breakfast.
Also a fab stay on a long w/end with a young one a few months ago, in our case at the Radisson Blu Waterfront.
Right opposite the train station for the airport, and everywhere walkable, include the ferry (remember to just
get the cheap commuter ferry, nº 89 I think, instead of the pricy & less frequent tourist ones).
The lobby is spacious and snazzy with sofas to sit on, and a free sweets trolley…which had nothing to
do with the hotel being so popular with the whole family, of course!
Room tip: just book for 2, then either squeeze toddler in, or email for a rollaway if they’re a bit bigger.
