Anyone know if BA is going to be flying to DLM next summer? No flights available as yet. TIA
Are BA any better than a LCC on that route?
They are not, I’ve done it from Gatwick. It’s over 4 hours block time, too long to spend in Euro Trash. An LCC with priority boarding and an extra legroom seat is much preferable if you don’t have status with BA.
Flying in August would cost us circa £1500 to £2000 for a family of 4 vs £140 + Avios. I’ll take the latter thanks!
Also BA in club cater for dietary requirements far better than most LCCs!

I think DLM was previously a LGW only route but this summer they are flying it from LHR too.

It did before March 20 and before the creation of BA Gatwick EuroFlyer.
For LHR flights, some of these summer holiday flights are slot sitters until new long haul planes arrive, so summer 23 flights may not be the same as summer 22 flights.
Not sure if anyone else on here is interested in this route but flights LHR -> DLM for 3rd June 2023 appeared today. Not too keen on the 0735 departure but can deal with it especially with the added convenience (for us) of LHR over LGW.
Looks like these flights are only running on Saturdays which is a shame as would probably want to go for 10 days. Might just have to do 14 nights if wife can get leave 😁.
