My question is: does Amex still give bonus points for applying for the 1st Supplementary card? If so, is there a link to the page that you ave to use to get that bonus, or is it automatic when applying?
I have a new BAPP card arrived today and want to give my spouse the Supplementary card and don’t want to miss out on a nice bonus benefit.
I have spent 1/2 hour looking but can’t find the answer; although it may well be here somewhere.It is usually automatic and the points generally post quickly.
The online chat says this: In your online account, you need to go to the option to “Add someone to your account” and apply for the card. Once it is approved you will be eligible for the bonus points.”

Is it still the case though i.e. getting 3K avios for adding the 1st supplementary card to your BAPP?
I’ve lifted this in the T’s& C’s for BAPP just now:
“You’ll receive 3,000 bonus Avios for the first approved Card *15”
And scrolling down to point 15, it says:
“15. The bonus Avios offer is valid for the first approved Supplementary British Airways American Express Premium Plus Card only. Please note, in rare circumstances it may take up to 90 days for the 3,000 bonus Avios to be applied to your Account. You may apply for several Supplementary Cards but you will only receive the 3,000 bonus Avios for the first approved Card. You will NOT receive this bonus if you have ever received it before. This offer is subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time.”
Capitalised “NOT” is mine.
So, as I’ve just come out of a 2y hiatus and got my BAPP in Feb24, it sounds like I won’t be getting the bonus for taking out the supp card because I’ve had it previously.Is it still the case though i.e. getting 3K avios for adding the 1st supplementary card to your BAPP?

Thanks SteveJ, applied yesterday for the supp, card arrived today so super quick, and the 3k avios posted too! Happy with that.
