Was wondering if anyone can think of the best T3 lounge to use with kids when flying CW. They’re 2 and 4, so at the younger end. I will always try avoid the awful BA lounge. When the eldest was a baby we used the Qantas lounge a lot and always found a quiet corner with a few play things for her. I don’t recall the Cathay Lounge having anything kid friendly, but I do love the noodle bar.
Any thoughts much appreciated, also whilst I’m at it, 2 adults and 2 kids flying CW means we each can bring one guest in with us to the lounge right?
Amex lounge has a kids club
The fangettes are a bit older than your kids, but I’d say Cathay all the way. No kids area as such in the business bit, bu I think they had some colouring books when asked.
Mine stuffed themselves with free noodles and made a bit of a mess but the staff were lovely. Then, carb-loaded, they slept for most of the next flight!
Not sure what the precise rules are for guests in CW but I’ve often rocked up to airline lounges with small kids in tow and they’ve let them in no questions asked even if we’re not technically entitled.
The best technique for this is to go to the desk solo, plop your boarding passes down and ask which lounge you should go to – this works particularly well in Cathay lounges where there are business and first sections. Having “disappointed” once you by saying that you can only go to the second best lounge, they usually don’t fuss about guesting.

Yes I can hear you Clem Fandango. And thank you. We all are flying Club World, and I’m BA Silver, so are entitled to lounge access, but we have grandparents coming with us flying Y so (and I think this is true) we can each bring one of them as a guest.
Actually scrap that, I was wrong. We don’t get guests flying Club World, you only get a guest flying First. So as BA Silver I’ll get one extra guest allowed with me but that’s it.
