Looking for recommendations on resorts in Thailand that are good for kids.
Preferably one with water slides / close to or have a water park.
Restaurants and shops within 5-10 mins would be great as well.

Sands Khao Lak is one that fits the criteria. Any other suggestions please? Thanks!

I haven’t been in some time, but the JW Marriott Khao Lak just up the coast is one big swimming pool. Shopping is limited but there are some good independent restaurants adjacent set up to cater to the resort guests.

For a leftfield suggestion, Shangri-la Chiang Mai has a particularly good pool set-up for a city hotel and it’s a great/easy city to explore with children.

    Shangri-la Chiang Mai

Bloody hell did I have issues at that place or what?
Honestly, you wouldn’t think the management (let alone the staff) had any customer service experience. I think I wrote about it here somewhere a couple of years ago.

Though I will admit they had one of the better outdoor pools I’ve come across.
