If you have the Marriott Bonvoy Amex you would have been targetted for a ‘10,000 bonus points for spending £100 on F&B in these London hotel bars and restaurants’ offer.
Based on a stay I booked for someone this week (prepaid, although won’t make a difference I’m sure) it triggers at the Aloft Excel on a standard room booking. I suspected it would and it did. Given that the room was £102 it was a good result!
This will obviously combine with the ‘£75 back on £200 spend’ offer just launched on the Bonvoy Amex.
Great tip – cheers! I was looking at that Aloft anyway!
Yup planning to use mine in the booking office bar with friends and double dip with £100 payment towards my hotel elsewhere. £200 spend and £75 and 10k back isn’t bad.
Do you think it works the other way around? Paying for afternoon tea at the W london triggers the 75£ on 200£ spend?
Great tip – cheers! I was looking at that Aloft anyway!
I booked the Aloft in the end and it triggered too
