New offer on my free Amex appeared this AM. Spend £400+, get £100 back. Expiry date Sept 9th which is a shorter window than usual for these types of offers.
Perhaps not wholly unrelated, noted the price point for this hotel seems to have softened based on various dates I inputted for the next few months.
London hotel rates are very soft at the moment. I am currently mattress-running in a five star (for an article due next week) and its £145 tonight. Laughable, when you remember that two years ago we had Holiday Inn Express hotels at £500/night over the summer.
