Hoping for an answer on a 2-4-1 voucher question. I’m looking to book some reward flights for next summer. I have a 241 BA Amex voucher issued in Mar 22 which expires Mar 23 (which obviously is of no use to me. I either have/or almost have spent the annual amount for a new voucher through the card since then. Will this mean a new voucher is issued once i pass the threshold or will i have to wait till march for the next one?
I think i may have read it’s based on membership year end – if so is this the Tier Points Year end or the anniversary of joinng BAEC?

Your 241 will be issued when you meet the £10k spend, regardless of how long it takes you to spend it. The card anniversary date only determines when your new spend year starts, it’s nothing to do with the voucher. Your BA membership year isn’t relevant to it at all.
Remember you only have to have flown your outbound leg by the voucher expiry date, so you might still find something which works for you.
If the voucher has a 1 year validity it is presumably from the free card? Limitations are that it can only be used in economy and it is only valid for a year – this makes the paid card voucher considerably more valuable.
The voucher is issued when you reach the required spend, in your current card year. So March probably has nothing to do with it – that was just when you reached the spend target that year.
For your next voucher, you need to reach the spend target in the next card year – so any spend between March 22 and the end of that card year does not count. The counter starts again in the next card year.
