I have a short window of from now until April 1 to get the necessary points to retain my silver status until April 26 with the points rejadjustment. I only need a few more points to have 600 points but do I also need to fly four times in this window to get the status extended? Thank you 🙂If you have flown 4 qualifying flights since 1st April 2024 you don’t need to worry about it.
The status counter in your account should say wether you have met this or not.
Aha! Thank you, so the four flights are counted from April 2024 along with the tier points? My status update hasn’t happened yet… Which reminds me I need to check if and I guess if it doesn’t happen today which will be 14 days I need to start chasing.
The updates / swapover / transition between old and new collection years has been pretty seamless so far.
BTW 14 days from 8th Jan would be the 22nd and even then it likely won’t happen until the early hours on the 23rd.
I wouldn’t start chasing nything yet though as phone agents can’t force through the change early.
I am also a Jan 8ther, my tier points have been adjusted from last year, but still showing that I require 4 qualifying flights, even though since April 2024 I’ve flown 4 BA Metal flights. Hopefully it is just a blip…
Additionally, I’ve 140 Tier Points from a flight in December with Qatar Airways still to be added, I require these to qualify for Silver until 2026, hopefully they get adjust soon. BAEC aren’t too great or clear on their responses despite sharing flight booking confirmation, E-Tickets & the boarding pass of the flight.
