Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

I have never done a tier point run. There are 160 points available to KEF and back.
The plane arrives at 9.45 am in KEF , and the same plane flies home again at 10.35 am the same day.

BA seemed happy to sell me these flights , however I dont know of this is technically possible ?

    Any advice ? Thanks

Your question is more about what happens when you land than the tier points title makes out.

According to the BA FT board BA arrivals decant into the same area as departures so it’s a case of waiting until the plane boards again.

The problem these days is more about getting a boarding pass. If you can’t obtain it before you go then you risk arriving after check in has closed.

They might be able to issue the boarding pass for KEF-LHR at Heathrow in the same way they can issue for connecting flights. Just ask at Heathrow check-in.
