Tier points and card expiry date.

I’m feeling confused over the card expiry date on BA.

Player 2 has just made gold today – yay. His year end is May 2023. Card expiry is June 2024. Will his points reset in May 2023, or will he have another year to add to his current total?

At tier point collection year end, points are zeroised. Status lasts to card expiry date. So in your case, points will reset to zero in May 2023, gold status will last to June 2024. To renew gold will require 1500 points to be earned between May 2023 and May 2024.
