Hi all,
I just signed up the the Avios Plus card (did not think an enhanced SUB was coming through anytime soon anyways) – do you have any idea how long it takes for the card to be delivered so I can start using it prior to the end of the month? It says 5-7 days but am hopeful it comes quicker than that!
If you have a look at the dedicated threads you’ll see that there have been lots of issues, cards going missing, etc, right from the start so if it doesn’t arrive in the specified time you’ll need to chase it up with Barclays!
I applied for the same card at the end of last week, the card arrived in the post yesterday. Currently I only get post a couple of days a week, so in other areas it might be a day quicker.
Very helpful – thank you! Hoping since I get mail daily, and not had issues in the past, that the card comes by early next week!

When you mention end of last week, was that over the weekend? Wondering if applying this afternoon means it may be dispatched today or tomorrow hopefully!
I have just checked and I applied on the Friday afternoon. Not sure exactly what time.
FWIW Barclaycard didn’t send any acknowledgement by email after I applied, the only correspondence has been by post.

Yep – same here, no email received!
I applied on either Wednesday 10th or Thursday 11th and had my card by the 13th.
Thankfully Barclays give you the option of seeing your PIN in app, as the PIN only arrived in the post a couple of days ago.
Card arrived today but can’t activate it as it says to register the app and activate it in there, but the app registration says it requires a Pinsentry device, so now I have to wait for that to arrive.
It seems Barclaycard processes really are as bad as people make out.
If you are still struggling with this try to sign in via the website. I initially started with the app, but met the same hurdle of needing a pin. From the website I could sign in and then see the pin. I would agree that the who process is very clunky.
