I’m new to top cashback but it seems to have some reasonable deals and saw one today for £70 on the Amex gold card.
Has anyone done this? As a free card in the first year it feels like free money to me? What’s the catch? Can’t seem to see any t&cs as when I click on the offer I’m directed to the Amex application page.
You don’t get higher sign up bonus, you also don’t support this site. And you might wait for six months for this to be paid out. Ask Rob and the team for the referral link.
If there’s any issues with your amex application, even if it subsequently goes through the cashback will be declined by TCB.
A Platinum card holder will get at least 12k points for referring you plus the improved sign up bonus you get. I’m sure you could work out a deal between yourselves where you get more than £70 of value through that route.
It is possible to get both the site cash back and a referral bonus… open the cash back one first in one tab and then click on the referral link in another tab. Use the referral tab to apply. I have had it on every card I’ve applied for in the last 5 years.
