I need to fly from Asia to the US west coast in January and would like to some advice on the best (and available) options if anyone has that experience. I’m coming from the Philippines so can start in any hub on the pacific rim and can go anywhere on the West coast – though LAX is preferable. I have plenty of avios and 100k of virgin points. I know there are a lot of oneworld airlines that fly across the pacific but it’s not obvious where to start searching for the best redemptions…
Try flightconnections.com. Quick options I found were Cathay from HKG and Japan Airlines from TYO. There are direct MNL-LAX flights but you’d need a Star Alliance redemption for that.
Use https://www.flightsfrom.com/
You don’t need an account to search by alliance and it’s filtering is generally better than flightconnections
