Transfer Avios from BA to Iberia- Help?

I want to book a flight with iberia and am worried the availability will be gone by time it comes up on BA. I’ve not flown with Iberia before so don’t have any points in my account. is there a way to transfer from my BA to Iberia account. I only have the BAPP card so i am unable to use Amex membership points

But there is no need to transfer Avios BA to IB. You can do your entire IB booking on ba.com. Only reason you would transfer is to book 6 days earlier than BA allow (I believe its 361 days out).
