Expedite transfers from BA Amex to BA account?

Hi all, I’m hoping to upgrade an economy AA award ticket to business (domestic) booked through BA but to do so I need my points from my BA Amex which don’t transfer over for a week! Does anyone know whether Amex will expedite transfer or whether BA will hold tickets awaiting points that are already earned?

IMO you won’t have much luck with either of these, unfortunately.

What’s the process for upgrading AA domestic flights with avios though, I didn’t know this was possible?

Ok thanks for your response, I should be clear what I’m planning on doing is changing an existing Avios booking in economy to business, benefiting from the lack of fees at the moment, but just don’t have enough points cleared in the account!
