Forums Other Destination advice Travel app for AwardWallet refugee

AwardWallet has stopped letting you add/edit trip details and events manually – in fact the app has stopped letting you do anything in the “trips” section unless you grant it permission to access your mailbox which seems mean and it can bugger off if it thinks it’s getting doesn’t work for me. I prefer to work by simply forwarding relevant confirmations. Want somewhere to keep PDF tickets and the like neatly in one place so I can have travel tickets but also entertainment plans while I’m there.

The obvious alternative seems to be TripIt (even though I’ll miss getting cancellation/flight change notifications for free like I did with AwardWallet) and it’s good enough for Rhys…

Although others think Wanderlog. Any other thoughts/suggestions?

If you use Apple products, Tripsy is pretty good. They have apps for iOS, iPadOS, and even MacOS, so I can easily add or import travel data using any of my devices (manually or via email forwarding). I much prefer Tripsy to Wanderlog, which I previously used. You can also easily share your travel plans with others via Tripsy, which can be handy in certain instances.

I use Tripsy in conjunction with Flighty, which provides live tracking and info on my flights (Tripsy does provide some push notifications, but Flighty is more advanced). Flighty automatically picks up new flights from Tripsy calendar publishing. Flighty also has iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS apps.
