Trying to book a round trip, with AA partner.

I can book on Business Class to Miami easily.
Coming back to the UK on Business, I can only find connecting flights ie. Mia to JFK or BOS on AA, and then BA to LHR.
Is this doable and allowed, or is there a workable or easier/better alternative ?

You can only use the Barclay card voucher on BA operated flights.

If the avios search is ony showing connections it likely means there isn’t any availability on BA metal and the search hasn’t picked up your using a voucher

If you’re willing to accept the complications of separate bookings you could do LHR – MIA and JFK/BOS – LHR with the voucher, then book the AA leg on it’s own.

Are you fixed to a specific date? With BA running two A380s a day to MIA there is normally something available if you can flex a few days.

Or perhaps less attractive try MCO or TPA to LGW.
