H/T to London Air Travel but have linked to BA website
The situation is now drop off is between 16.00 – 22.00 (was 18.00 – 21.00) BUT now only applies to flights departing before 10.00 (previously 13.00)
No change for LGW

Gutted, I have flight departing at 10:05 AM from LHR and was hoping to check in my bag at LHR rather than taking it from LHR to INV and then back to LHR!
Wow, that’s a *big* change for those that like Twilight drop off! I try to avoid earlier flights to make the travel process more pleasant, but this basically means it’s either an early arrival for an early flight, or an early arrival to drop off bags for a slightly later flight.
Drat. Our flight is 10.10 tomorrow and were hoping to avoid the queues. I guess there’s no chance of pleading ignorance to the change and turning up this evening to check in anyway…
Swings and roundabouts. Overall, the ability to check in 2 hours earlier and extended period outweighs the downside of the new departure time limitation for me but maybe not for everybody.
Appreciate if anyone is using this facility in next day or two to share their experience.
1pm was hard coded so I suspect 10am would be too, might get lucky and it not be done yet though

Checked a case in this afternoon at T5 for a 10.10am flight tomorrow. Told at first can only do after 6pm (it was 5pm at the time). Went across to the bag drop and nothing was challenged.
