Updating Gold status in my profile

I have managed to earn enough Tier Points to renew gold – in fact I have more than managed that as I have accumulated 1500 when I only needed 1125. My year ends on 8th June 2023. However, although it states in my profile that I have maintained my Gold status, my card expiry date is still showing as 31st July 2023, not 2024 as it should do. Customer services at BEAC have said that the card expiry date will not update until after my year ends on 8th June 2023. Is this correct, or should I be concerned?
