Apologies if this has been asked before (search is not working).
If there is only Y availability on my outbound leg from London to US, but J availability on the return, can I use my Upgrade Voucher to upgrade just the US to London flight? I understand I will probably have to call for this.

What destination is it? Usually US availability is pretty decent.
Someone posted 2 days ago that they managed to do this, booked outbound in Y, and return in J (and they were actually upgraded to PE for the outbound to their surprise).
I asked in that thread how they managed to do it, but they never came back!
The reason I was surprised because it says the voucher much be used on flights departing from the UK, so not sure how they used it to not upgrade the outbound flight. Perhaps it is something that can be done over the phone if you book both legs at the same time? If you do call, please come back and update the thread 🙂
I was also wondering about this, because the booking was for 2 people so would only be able to be made as a one-way online.
