Just noticed an offer through the Amex app which I thought I would highlight as I hadn’t noticed it before or on HFP.

Think I may go for it as I have just lost Gold Sparrow, so no lounge access. Also a bit of a no brainer with £500 Amex Travel + £400 dining credit vs £650 fee.

And for your next set of questions if your account is upgraded:

Amex doesn’t seem to do a credit check, your card number stays the same and the changeover is pretty much immediate.

The only thing you don’t get instantly is your physical card.
