Hi guys, I haven’t used a Barclays upgrade voucher before. I’m looking at flights to/from Australia next December. I saw an option on the BA rewards flight finder that is Qatar Airways from Perth->Doha and BA from Doha->London
Interestingly, the only options are Economy, Business & First (there is no Premium Economy option). In this case, would I be able to use my upgrade voucher to go from Economy -> Business straight? i.e. I would pay the Avios required for Economy and taxes/charges for Business?
Unfortunately you can only use a Barclaycard voucher on BA, not Qatar.
You can of course use the voucher to upgrade from Euro Traveller to Club Europe.

As said, the voucher won’t work with non BA flights.
However, this works well for longer CE flights such as Cairo.
Hi
I have a question on using amex & upgrade vouchers if someone could assist. I have a 241 voucher and upgrade voucher to use. We want to go to Austtralia Feb 2026 with possibly stopping At Kuala Lumpur on way out or back if possible. What would be the best way to use the vouchers for this trip or is it best just to use 241.
Thank You
