Travelling to Miami next week in economy , when looking at my flights under MMB there is a special offer for an upgrade to WTP for £319.00PP for the otb flight only.
If I ignore that and go to the change my booking option were I can change flight time date etc , the cost to upgrade with change fee etc is £329.00 so a difference of £10.00pp my question is A why is there a different B which upgrade option will give me more avois / tear points C is the uograde worth it ? We have currently got the 2 seats upstairs allocated in economy

You’d get the same TPs and I think the same Avios either way. Just how these things work out sometimes!
For me personally it’s too much especially as a pair on the A380
Worth looking into an Avios upgrade on the way home if you’re in economy, I recently did NYC for 13k Avios and only £20 in tax and fees difference (as there isn’t the uplift in APD like outbound)
