Using Amex Platinum dining credit near the Lyceum Theatre

Hi all,

We’re off to see The Lion King later this year. Any suggestions for a restaurant where we can use our £150 Platinum dining credit for a pre-theatre meal? There doesn’t seem to be a way to see all of the different London options on a map in order to narrow it down a bit by location!

Not fussy as to the cuisine (although we are vegetarian) it’s more about a convenient location – I don’t want to be rushing from one side of London to the other between dinner and the show.

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received 🙂

Thanks for the map, very useful.

I wouldn’t recommend Skylon, which is just over the river from the theatre. The food seemed overpriced and not particularly good.

Yes, thanks for the map! Not many good options (and some definitely to be avoided) for the OP close to the Lyceum. Clos Maggiore isn’t too far and has a very reasonable pre-theatre menu. Haven’t been for a while, but was good and very attractive dining room.
