Hi, I have BA gold status due to business travel, but sadly no-one else in my travel party does, so I can’t get us all into the BAlounge.
I have a ton of avios, so thought I could use these to book an airport (non-ba) lounge, e.g. aspire or my lounge. But I can’t for the life of me find out how to do this does anyone know?!?
Some third party lounges are on here:

but the 0.5p-ish per point you get for Avios (even worse for lounges since there are discount codes around) makes it poor.
The Regus / Dragonpass deal is probably the cheapest option – https://www.headforpoints.com/2023/10/30/get-a-free-dragonpass-airport-lounge-membership/
You can always try depending on your party size! (Depending on the TOD, if the lounge isn’t too busy). Recently a couple were trying to “blag” (ask kindness) to get their 13yo daughter into a lounge operated by a 3rd party without luck, when I showed up. Immediately she was my guest – problem solved. Blagging young kids in is a lot easier than adults.
Otherwise I just pay for the rest of my party to use a 3rd party lounge, get them settled, and then head off to the BA lounge. Would never use Avois. BTW a lot of “paid lounges” are super-busy and you’d get better value sitting in a restaurant IMHO.
