Using BA Avios to book QR – is waitlisting possible?

Would like to book QR business seats for 2 to bangkok return, OTB flights are available however not return on any flight , tried dates +/3 days

Would BA consider waitlisting the return flights if I call them ??? Due to work commitments dates are fixed

I think only Singapore Airlines, of the major carriers, allows waitlisting for air miles tickets.
