Using BA evoucher from Australia

Hi

We have one of those BA evouchers worth £1,100 expiring in September. We now live in Melbourne so options to use it are very limited I believe. I think we can only use it to fly Sydney to Singapore. Looking at any dates it’s horribly expensive compared to booking the same flight with QF or SQ.
Is there any way we can get better value from this voucher from Melbourne?

I think you can use it on any flight that shows up on ba.com so you could book QF comes up on the booking page.
