Hi
EDIT but keeping for reference: miraculously this jas priced online (which I didn’t expect) and yes, gives you Club Europe on domestic.
If I call up to use Avios and a Barclays “UG voucher” on a MAN-LHR-DFW from economy to premium, does my domestic connection get upgraded to Business?
And if so, would I have access to lounge at LHR on my outbound (guess I would on inbound).
@Northernlass, you might know the first bit. Logically, I think it should but not sure.
Thanks
Alex
Yes – as you’ve found, this quirk allows you to book into CE on an upgrade to WTP (or just a straight avios booking). I’ve done this a few times.
You won’t get lounge access on the outbound at LHR unless you have status, so make the most of the offerings in MAN Escape and onboard, lol! You will get it on the inbound, so would be able to hopefully grab a shower and a bite to eat before your domestic leg.
I doubt very much that BA would do this, however, if you booked over the phone!
