A heads-up for people with outstanding balances on BA eVouchers…
I just discovered that BA are holding fast to the T&Cs of eVouchers insofar as their not being accepted for flights after 30/09/23. Mine was not accepted for an October 2023 BA flight.
That’s a bit of a blow as I’m already over-committed as far as travel up to September next year is concerned (including £10,000+ spent on BA Avios flights in taxes/surcharges which couldn’t be paid with eVouchers). Unless BA extend/refund remaining balances (which they might given the likely public backlash), I’m going to have to shoehorn in some more travel before then. Not a bad problem to have!
Hoping they refund! Thought of using the evouchers – but cash prices are so high, avios are very good value.
At least they should offer some flexibility – use evouchers to pay for taxes on avios tickets.
