Using MR for Garuda reward flight – easiest via Delta?

I’m guessing the easiest way is MR-Virgin for use on ICN-DPS (have already seen availability).

I will of course have to open a Virgin account first, but
does anyone know if the transfers are immediate?

I booked ICN-CGK today on Garuda using Flying Blue miles on the Air France website. It was very easy. I already have a load of FB miles, but I have a feeling transfers from MR are not immediate (stand to be corrected).

Thanks – I don’t have any Sky stuff so would need to set up an account through whichever route!
