Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club Using points & companion voucher from 2 accounts

I need to book a trip for myself and P2 after consolidating points and companion voucher on P2’s account.

Will the VA call-centre allow me to do that, if both of us are travelling on the same flights?

I did this day before yesterday. In fact mine was slightly more complicated as I had to buy points as well.

I was slightly apprehensive as some have reported that flights available online can’t be booked.

I called the basic red tier line and was answered in about 10 minutes. Used my points, Mrs AFKAE points and bought some points and made the booking all in one go.

There’s a small advantage doing it this way as I didn’t get charged for moving Mrs AFKAE’s points across, which you would pay for if you did it yourself.

    All well handled and straightforward.

Thanks, that’s very helpful. I haven’t actually moved my points across yet but was fully expecting to have to. I’ll give them a ring first now.

Ordinarily, they don’t move your points. They just deduct the relevant balance from each account, thus saving you the movement fee.
