Using your avios for business bookings – expense and HMRC rules

I’m booking travel for my business using avios. BA agent said I could expense avios used for business travel at £15 per thousand avios used and HMRC would accept as legit.

Can anyone confirm this?

Put it this way – if you bought the Avios off IAG then it is 100% ok, so arguably this is nothing different.
