When I was searching VS Shanghai to London rewards flights on the Virgin app today I saw that Vietnam Airlines , Shanghai – Ho Noi – London also came up as an option. Also VN , Taipei to Ho Chi Minh is there.
First time I have ever seen VN airlines reward seats showing on Virgin . Haven’t tried pushing the “book” button . Could be like the setup with KLM where you have to call Virgin?Vietnam Airlines just migrated their booking systems the last few days, I’m guessing to bring it into line with other alliance partners.

App & website terrible. Sometimes you’ll have to manually select the airport using the ‘Rest of the World’ tab. They’re in the system so why can’t it recognise a 3-Letter airport code 🫤🙄😤.
We had a great experience on four Vietnam Airline flights in business in January but at that time could not select VA to credit the mileage and these just appeared mid-April after several requests. Well worth flying with.
